We absolutely loved staying at Richard’s place! It is so secluded and off the grid, away from everything, only you, the house and nature. Richard is the only neighbour 🙂 Direct access to the lake and Richard was kind enough to take us to Santiago in his boat when we wanted to go grocery shopping. We got to use the canoe and hike up the mountain. The candle-lit evenings were very peaceful 😉

…FIRST- This home is across the bay from Santiago. It is Only accessible by boat. SECOND- Richard is an AMAZING host and was able to ferry us back and forth to town and was extremely helpful and

This is a beautiful, very rustic cottage in an amazing private jungly woods a few minutes by boat from Santiago. If this is what you are looking for you couldn’t do better. The host Richard was amazing. He is kind, generous with time, a true gentleman. He took us back and forth on the boat whenever we wanted, cooked us a couple of great meals and was super responsive to our every need.
